hey @SlackHQ Any way to let a user decide if they want that new popup that appears when using a slash command?
It completely ruins experience, as I can’t press “tab” to autofill, it requires “enter” instead.
It’s a clunky, and dreadful experience for power users.
Hi Michaela, this is part of a change we're rolling out to all teams to improve the Shortcuts menu. Unfortunately it isn't possible to revert back to the old behaviour. However, we're tracking all feedback on this change so will pass it onto the team for you.

Yeah - this is literally garbage. The team and I are considering switching apps over this (and we have a _lot_ of employees). I’ve heard the same thing from two other companies w/ friends, and neither are small shops.

Yea, we're not huge - about 20 people - but it's so irritating, and really jarring for an experience for power users. WHY CAN'T I JUST PRESS THE TAB BUTTON?!

It's made more annoying by the fact that it eats input because of the time it takes for the box to show up. So if I quickly type "/me foo" the "foo" becomes part of the search instead of my message. *really* annoying.

1: It obscures vital screen content, but worse 2: It makes me have to switch my eye-focus position to a completely different part of the screen, searching for the cursor, all the while trying to ignore the ever-changing screen content updating, then
