@SlackHQ the “helper tool” update scheme is essentially malware. I once actually installed the update (required an hour on the phone with my IT dept). The prompt began again the NEXT DAY. It wakes my computer up from deep sleep and makes the fans run constantly. Please fix this.

Thanks for replying. Yeah my point is it’s unbelievably annoying and disruptive, not to mention taxing for my machine, given I need to schedule time with the IT department to remote in and enter the credentials. There should be a way to delay for more than 5 minutes at a time.
