It shouldn't change the input focus — if you keep typing as normal, it will be placed back into the message input box. But yes, this is an intentional change with no way to revert it! We're open to feedback if you have.

This is the second one, it is the old UX (I guess?), which doesn't change the input focus and allows tab completion. The new UX is a step in the wrong direction, it's not harder to use... requires me to type the whole command or switch to the mouse. That's not great.pic.twitter.com/ycLn4sy0x8
