@SlackHQ is there anyway to disable auto-formatting for urls. It's super annoying 95% of the time and nobody really benefits from it on our end.

The link at the end (http://github.com ) just sends you to the homepage from Github so it really does nothing.
A-ha! We do actually have a way of pasting hyperlinks as plain text — Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + V. That said, it looks like a bug has resurfaced that's causing it to not work on MacOS. We're looking into it now. Thanks for raising this with us so we could catch it!

Nope, but the bug seems to be intermittent, so that could be why.
