hi @SlackHQ, I'm not sure if I'm happy with the latest update:
1. What is the purpose of the box around the "#" or "
" next to the channel name? I find it noisy.
2. When I want to send someone a DM, I see their online and DND status first. Profile picture is not a factor.
These changes were meant to make Slack more intuitive and familiar by helping users better find their teammates and key activity. We're sorry you're not happy with it and appreciate your thoughts on it so we can continue making improvements.
