Does Slack still mandate paid accounts on both side of a shared channel? If so, can anyone explain network effects to their c-suite?

I believe so. I had one auto-disappeared the other day after a stream of "your premium trial is expiring soon" notifications.

Shared channels are still a paid feature only, so both teams need to be on a paid plan. That said, we appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this and we are always looking for ways to improve cross communications between workspaces!
