@SlackHQ Good morning, very good people. I am finding the addition of avatars in the sidebar makes it harder for me to scan who is present and who is not. I'm curious what the reason for adding them was. Perhaps it’s a very good one and it hasn’t occurred to me.

thanks for the continual improvements, would like to add my voice to the concern over the section it gives me a bit more anxiety trying to visually decode that section with the avatars, not help

It’d be cool if status was shown by color - ie full colored avatars are online a a greyed out ones are not.

It seems to me that if someone has any amount of green in their avatar, the tiny green "online" dot is rendered invisible to my eye.

I just wanted to add my feedback that I find it visually very jarring, highly distracting and it much more difficult to see who's online. No response needed.
