Hey there @SlackHQ, any plans to make person avatars in the sidebar configurable so that we can turn them off? Super-hard to see online/offline status at a glance now :(
Thanks for reaching out, Rich. We're very sorry for the difficulty in seeing those statuses. We have no plans as of yet to toggle this, but as this is a new feature we are listening to feedback such as yours closely. Thanks for letting us know your thoughts!

Agree, this feature needs to be optional. It's way too cluttered and busy, not to mention distracting. Please give us a toggle!!!
