You've got to be kidding that this is allowed.
You can talk to Slackbot. Slackbot will search the Help Center for you, or you can teach it custom responses to commonly asked questions.

Can you teach slackbot that if you reply to a reminder that it should tell you that you're talking to yourself.

If you thank Slackbot, it will politely reply. You can also teach Slackbot to reply depending on what you said, although that would be more phrase-based and not exactly what you'd like.
