@SlackHQ I love that we can add in-line links to messages...and I’m also totally brainwashed by the ⌘+K shortcut in pretty much every other app.
I get that’s already taken in Slack for the channel switcher...but could it at least not reset the text cursor to the top each time?
Hmmm not sure what you mean there. The ⌘+K command it indeed taken by the Quick Switcher. How could we maintain that mapping and also help you with formatting?

I don’t actually need help with formatting! Just when I select some text to link, press ⌘+K by mistake because I forgot, curse silently at myself for forgetting, and press Esc to get back out, the text should still be selected. Right now, my cursor is reset to the beginning
