Hey @SlackHQ - can you PLEASE commit to addressing the bug where microphone audio slowly increments on Mac OS X? It's making team calls unbearable, to the point we're ready to move to other solutions (and we're actually paying on several teams) :(
. It sounds like you're having an issue with automatic audio gain. This is built into Slack calls, and allows the app to try to compensate for mic input volume based on ambient noise. If you don't mind emailing us at feedback@slack.com we can confirm if this is a known bug.

We’ve been down that road. It’s indeed a “feature” - but it’s a terrible one that should have an option to opt out (universally disliked by teams we’ve discussed with). Can we avoid the email and get it added to a backlog? That’d be the ultimate customer win IMO
