@SlackHQ I've got my phone to wait 2 minutes before notifying me of a new message when I'm using the desktop client. It's stubbornly refusing to abide by this rule. Have a word with it please, it used to work!

I know! It’s probably my misunderstanding but I don’t want my phone to alert me when I’m on my desktop client unless I’m not actively using it. I’m sure it used to do this but it’s ignoring this timeout now it seems.pic.twitter.com/4btmgQ6KVv
Can you check a setting in your desktop instance of Slack? Preferences > Notifications > scroll down, under "When I'm not active on desktop" you'll want "after I've been inactive for 2 minutes" selected. If it says "immediately, even if I'm active", that could be the culprit.

It appears okay I think. I'm sure this used to work. Phone settings are set to only alert me on direct messages or
