@SlackHQ The UWP app needs fixing. I can't start typing as soon as I open the Slack window for some reason, even if the text cursor is blinking.
Hmmm! Is it a matter of waiting for a moment? Or do you need to do something else to be able to type?

And to confirm, this is happening on the Windows desktop app? If you reset the cache (Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache & Restart from the top left ☰ menu) does that make any difference, or no?
