is there a way to not see notifications from work on my phone when on “do not disturb” mode?
Like, I don’t see the notification, but I see the number badge (iOS).
Afraid not. The badge on the app icon will show up independently of DND mode. You can disable app icon badges from your system settings, but that would remove them entirely.

Oh, that is unsettling. Thanks for the quick response. I’ll have to disable them completely and let my team know that I’m no longer reachable on the phone.
Is there a way to mute one slack, but not others? Including badges I mean. This setting is not working for me either.pic.twitter.com/ctkIUbkhm2

If you're still referring to the badges then it's all or nothing via that OS level setting. Otherwise, DND is workspace specific.
