Hey Alexander! We want to make sure we understand. Do you mean that when you upload an emoji as an icon for an email integration (or perhaps broadly for any app) we're not hard coding the emoji name to the app?
I'd assume that when I assign a custom emoji to an app and want to update it (I didn't find edit for custom emoji, so I deleted and assigned again to the same name), the app would then be able to use the new one. That is correctly shown in channels but not in the list of apps.
Ahhh okay got it. That's not how it works currently, but we can see why that would be handy. Thanks for bringing this to our attention so we can think on it for future improvements.
