Messages arriving to my Slack app but not showing as new in the Mac app. Have to go onto a channel or person for them to appear. Or tapping a channel and it does not load.

That's very odd. Can you copy the links to some of the messages your expected to receive notifications for, but didn't, and send them in to feedback@slack.com along with a link to this tweet thread (so you don't have to re-explain yourself)?
