It's on our radar, but we don't have any immediate plans to change the current format. We're always reviewing things that might work, and we can definitely take a look at this on a deeper level.

But that seems to have been your reply to this request for years already. I’m pretty sure such a feature would be appreciated by a lot of users, it’s one of the few advantages Skype still has over Slack. Is this really that hard to implement?
