@SlackHQ did you change the quick-switcher on desktop? It doesn't select the first unread message right away anymore, which is a lot slower 
Hi Alex! We did change that a couple weeks ago. When it highlighted the first entry, screen readers wouldn't read it out, which is important for accessibility. This change puts the quick switcher more in-line with other major search engines, but we hear where you're coming from!
