@SlackHQ OK I give in. How do I do linked text when writing in markup in your desktop app cos you certainly don’t seem to support normal markdown syntax
Hi Dom! Unfortunately, creating hyperlinks is not possible while "Format messages using markup" is enabled. We hear you on this feedback though and will add it to the mix!

That’s a big shame then. Surprised it’s been missing as a feature for so long. I thought you used markdown syntax before?

We've never supported markdown syntax — we've always opted for either rich text formatting or a markup style formatting but not exactly markdown.
