I’d like to know whose ‘brilliant’ idea was it to display this tiny avatars on slack? Boo... very annoying.
And the funny thing is that they even didn't care to mention it in their Oct 6th update changelog

The rollout for the sidebar changes is happening slowly so we thought it might be confusing for folks that aren't seeing the new sidebar yet. Feedback noted though!
