@SlackHQ hey - I like the idea of giving everyone a profile pic next to their name but why are you prioritising this feature over the basic ability to view all unread messages in time order?

Hey there Sol! If you go into Preferences > Sidebar and enable "All unreads", you can go to that view and hit the dropdown at the top to sort by 'Newest'. Does that help you in this instance?

You can’t sort by newest message, only newest channel. Am I wrong?

"Newest channel" actually means channel with the newest activity, but it does group by channel, yes. Slightly hard to explain in a tweet! Another option is to sort your section(s) by recent activity (see screenshot).pic.twitter.com/ipXNt2316o
