I'm seeing the exact same error after the macOS App Store prompted me to update to 4.10.0. It now won't start up with the same error as the original poster above. Any update here as http://status.slack.com isn't showing any problem?!

You'll need to either update your Slack app via the Mac App Store to 4.10.1, or uninstall from the Mac App Store/reinstall from our website.
