Apologies! This is associated with the version distributed through the Mac App Store (a fix is already in the pipeline). Uninstalling it and reinstalling the direct download version should get you going again. https://slack.com/downloads/ Sorry for the disruption!

This feels like an *ongoing* issue given the fix isn't available in the Mac App Store yet, and seeing as my teammate also reported experiencing this issue recently. I checked Slack Status first, where 'All is well', then had to resort to searching Twitter's Latest for answers :(
