Is it just me, or has something changed with the ⌘+K switcher on the macOS @SlackHQ client? I'm consistently selecting the wrong channel or person by accident lately.
Howdy! We've made some recent changes to the shortcut to accommodate those who use Slack with Screen Readers. The previous behaviour skipped the first item, where it's now picked up. We hope that clears things up, but please loop back if not.

It's hella annoying for sure, but if it's making lives easier for people who need screen readers, then it's all fine by me. Good job.

Just one suggestion on this. I realised that because the switcher is at the top of the screen & out of eyeline, I use it like a normal shortcut (i.e. one with no UI affordance, unlike the switcher). This is what is leading to the increased error rate for me. 1/2

2/2 The increased misuse rates can be solved by moving the switcher to the middle of the screen, similar to Spotlight or Alfred. It would result in less errors for people like me, and not affect the fixes implemented for screenreader users. Please consider?
