@SlackHQ A Dutch news outlet says that Slack Connect will be available in the future on the free plan. Although I have a paid plan, the people that I want to connect with - don't. I can't find any official information regarding this.
Is this something on the roadmap?

Are there now any plans for this? I don't mind paying my part, but I'd be great to invite users without standard plan to the channel. Which we manage. Also Tweakers mentions that there are plans by Slack to support this?
Can't speak to the veracity of the Tweakers article but we don't have any near term plans to open up shared channels to folks on the free plan. You never know what could happen in the future but no near term plans.
