Thinking about bouncing the team off Slack and heading to Discord. I’m in a few servers on there, and the experience is so good. Other than losing a bunch of previous messages, I’m not sure we have much to lose.

It's the audio channels that Discord features that everybody is raving about now. Audio calls are way to formal. Just being in a channel with your team mates gives a feeling of connection, even if everybody is muted.
I love the async way of communicating in Slack, the search and the treads. But Discord is so nice with audio.
Also integrations are much better with Slack.
I hope that Slack will implement some of the audio features soon.
