    The last date to update existing Slack apps to use the Conversations API is extended by a few months to Feb 24, 2021. This API is still required for newly created apps beginning June 10, 2020. We’re also adding response warnings. Learn more:

    Rate limits will apply to all SCIM methods starting July 1, 2020. Please make sure any apps using the SCIM APIs remain within these limits and humbly handle HTTP 429 responses.

    You can no longer create legacy tester tokens. Existing tokens may still be re-issued. Test tokens left unused are regularly revoked. Reach out if you need help.

    Just reminding you that we’ll stop allowing creation of new legacy tester tokens on May 5, 2020. You’ll need to create & install a Slack app to work with the Web API after that. Existing tokens remaining in use will continue working. Learn more:

    Beginning June 10th, 2020, all newly created Slack apps will be unable to use deprecated channels., im., mpim., or groups.* methods. Existing apps still have until November 25th, 2020 to migrate to the Conversations API.
