This is something an atheist or agnostic would say. All of this alarmist talk doesn't change the fact that humans are meant to traverse the vastness of space though.🤔

From what I've seen of the guy, it seems like he avoids expressing belief in anything since lack of belief is expected of those in his field. He did so though that he does pray for success with their launches and things like that though
