On the assumption that this doesn't get reversed, I fear I may need to issue refunds to my few customers of Tweet Yeet. I can't imagine any pricing model for the Twitter API that would allow me to keep it running...

This is a special excellence award I received on the Fuchsia project for doing something I spent a lot of late hours on in 2021. I had to move it away from the window because it was setting things on fire by refacting light.

Internet toxicity usually misses me, but I was waiting for someone to be shitty about the #stadia tattoo in Wired. I haven't told the full story, so here, dear void, it is. Before Stadia was Stadia, a few of us made a pact that if the name and logo was great we'd get tattoos. 1/

So this is a fun question that I also pondered last night. Oddly enough, there are no active clients for Google's Immersive Stream for Games (Stadia's B2B service). I can't even find documentation on the service on Google's website.

Everyone knows that Google projects come and go, but the Stadia team continued to deliver. Releasing Bluetooth Mode for the Stadia Controller is not normal Google behavior, nor is launching Worm Game to the public. These are the actions of sincere individuals.

Working with
@GoogleStadia
was one of the greatest privileges of my job. You could tell that every single person on the Stadia team was passionate about the work that they were doing. While things may not have worked out, that passion never died, right up until the very end.

Some part of me wants to make a dead-simple app that handles posting to multiple platforms like Twitter, Mastodon, Cohost, etc. I don't mind engaging w/ people on multiple platforms, but the copy-paste process is mildly annoying. Could call the app "Send Tweet" or something.
