This is just inflammatory rhetoric. Stop comparing EVERY minor action someone takes as “comparable to Hitler and Stalin.” This person is not banned from writing. This ONE editor is just not going to give this type of thinking a platform.
Gonna have to agree with Zach here. They don’t have to commission me, and it’s not a violation of my free speech for them not to. We can talk about whether it’s sad they’d ban a gay man for simply pointing out homosexuals like the same sex, but it’s not about free speech

Thank you. As a fellow gay man, I don’t believe that was the issue they had with your article. I could be wrong but, when I read it, what stood out to me was contempt for an already very marginalized group of people. Just one guy’s opinion.

I don’t have contempt for them. We have to get beyond this notion that anyone who says “sex is an immutable trait” hates trans people. It’s not that simple. I have campaigned for trans rights for years. That’s not going to change. But please, stop telling lesbians to like dick

No one said they have to commission you, and I did not mention free speech. They have the ability to destroy careers, especially in academia. The idea of safe spaces and no platforming is for the most part a load of bollocks.
