The insinuation that protecting the environment is a middle class pursuit is insulting to every working - or indeed upper - class person who wants to protect the environment too.
Protecting the environment from impending doom should be top of everyone’s agenda - regardless of class. Feeling empowered to cause misery to millions of people belies a sense of entitlement, which has been the reserve of the middle class...

Incredibly condescending to imply working class people cannot feel empowerment to protect the environment through unconventional means. It's almost as if you're saying the place of working class people is to mark a ballot paper every five years and leave it at that.

It has moved up the agenda but the media's portrayal doesn't do it any favours. And the Central Line could do without it. Travelling back from a matinee yesterday I had to let several trains pass and had to disembark three times after said daughter felt sick due to overcrowding.
