I'm a Bristolian too, and I can solidly confirm that this happened to me every single day of my entire life from primary to secondary school in one way or another - I know you're making jokes but it just looks like you're dismissing the relevance of microagressions

I normally agree with you but not this one. Coming from a non diverse area in Dorset I had people at school touching my hair because they thought it would be funny and still today touching it without permission because 'it's so nice' some people need to know it's not acceptable
