This is shameful on your part Sky and not only lazy but buys in to reductive stereotypes. You could have commissioned a story that explores the trauma associated and how it perpetuates cycles. The systematic factors. This is a sensitive issue that you clearly don’t care about.

It’s mad how places like Cleveland don’t get mentioned who have lead the way with knife crime in the UK for years but we all know why

Windrush legacy - what an absolute mess!
. Why doesn’t this community take any blame or responsibility for this? It’s heartbreaking to see young lives lost for nothing. Political correctness has made this entire subject a taboo. Accountability at home & from the community -
This isn’t windrush legacy at all. Don’t dirtyR grandparents name they were decent people. If it’s anyone’s legacy is Blair, remember these are Blair babies, remember everything changed under him, remember garage turned into grime and he pushed for all these separate neighbourhoods
-
That the crashing thing I’ve heard! Blame Labour
. But you’ll problem vote @jeremycorbyn -
.its the grand children of the Windrush that are caught up in this violence. The culture of intimidation & aggressiveness at home is being played out on the streets.Again, accountability!pic.twitter.com/yAiO2a7syAThis media may contain sensitive material. Learn more -
Half these kids have never been to the Caribbean. Britain is their home and this type of reaction to their social circumstance is played out across the globe quite clearly. Age, gender, economic disenfranchisement, educational standards, employment levels... not a new thing.
-
I’m also first generation(Pakistani parents who moved here in the 60’s).You don’t need to born in your mother land to know the culture - that’s learnt at home. i faced racism in the 80-90’s, I pushed myself through college & uni.Don’t make excuses

-
Excuses? How nonsensical. These people who use extreme violence, (Which was clearly learned in the UK, because people aren't getting stabbed in the Caribbean like this) you blame the Windrush? They don't represent their community. Not sure where racism came into it.
-
No you’re wrong there tbh, there is gang violence in the Caribbean and it’s worse than here. It’s not learnt here at all. My issue with his comment was bringing windrush gen into it because they weren’t like that.
-
I know there is. My point is there aren't stabbings like there are here. Stabbings are a British issue. (We don't have guns) and agree, the second point is there wasn't gang violence on this level in the windrush generation like this. To link the 2 is silly.

Why in the world does Sky keep giving these wasters a platform. Trust me they are loving the fact that you're boosting their ego and rep in their little world of who's the badman gangster in dis postcode fam. Yes we should talk about this problem but you're doing it all wrong!
