Kinda frustrated that my brain cannot grasp how to do class hall's quests/missions(?) with recruits, champions, resources, etc #dumbSkolnick

as long as your champions can counter all the threats, fill remaining slots with recruits.
I think I have not even made it that far. I'm stuck knowing what/where the 'slots' are you mention or how to manage any of that yet.

Have you recruited your first two champions? Missions usually pop up after that.

Yes :-) Received 2 champions. Have been stuck/confused with a quest involving work orders (pickup?) and recruiting and resources.
