I must spend extra 20 mins each day with business emails finding alternate ways to use effect/affect since I cannot understand proper usage.
I think my confusion is that both examples seem to be identical where the person is feeling the results (action I think).

affect = you are going to feel (future). Effect = you did/do feel (past/present).
