      @CasuallyCasual I absolutely *love* my Blue Yeti. Mute/Volume/headphone jack on it. Gain dial to control noise. Warm sound.

      @CasuallyCasual From what I understand, the Snowball uses the same microphone, but scaled back extras. Solid though. Many podcasters use it.

      @CasuallyCasual Many use the snowball version as well....such as Medros and Shade/Anne. Yet, I do like the Yeti because of the gain control.

      @CasuallyCasual I use audacity. Record gain not very 'hot'. Once done, I add 5db bass boost, then compressor up to -3 dB from ceiling.
