Correct in thinking that the Tiller farm is something worthwhile doing *only* after hitting 90? Find it pointless thus far <90. What I miss?

@SkolnickWho the tiller's gives you stuff to level you cooking and such as well, so ... it's up to you?
@Achloryn I've seen the vendors selling items to level my cooking, but see no use for farming besides the first quest to get farm started.
