Any advice for when your young kid has cavities but is afraid of the dentist? We tried THREE times this year to get him seen and he was uncooperative each time. Same with the eye doctor. He isn't in pain, but as someone with soft teeth and history of cavities, I know it's coming.
Can you ask around to see if there is a regional dentist that specializes in children or fearful patients? Sometimes certain dentists actually promote & specialize in the extra care of kids who need the extra, careful attention.
