Ol' Warcraft friends... Imagine if I wanted to return back to WoW pre-Shadowlands, in order to level up to where I should be for this xpac, is there a "best method"/event I should do? I'm so very removed from the game/knowledge that I'm feeling like a stranger in a strange land.

I recommend going through the BfA zones, but make sure you do the Lordaeron scenario leading into it. I think you can pick it up at a Hero’s Call board on a new character. You can level all the way to 50 in one expansion!
Thank you for the suggestions! I remember visiting some of the BfA zones (one creepy one for sure). I think my mind is a bit broken as I'm learning that leveling up is super quick. I was just worried about 'finishing' the BfA stuff so I would max & ready.

This Tuesday is when the official Shadowlands pre-patch event begins, so you can gear up at level 50 by doing that content.
