Most everyone I talked to that played it on the floor really enjoyed it and there are other Diablo teams at work so likely they just felt that the new full game wasn’t up to presentation quality

I played it a few times. I liked it. Blizz failed at the messaging. It is clear who the audience for this game is, and it ain’t who it was presented to. They anchored Blizzcon on a mobile game after getting a bunch of PC gamers excited about Diablo. THAT was the mistake.
