After that is a quest to recruit generic soldiers which act as fillers to go with the champions. I normally only send 1-2 champions and fill in with the recruits.
I tried giving these mini-game, non-Warcraft, Mission things a chance. I successfully sent a dwarf champion out & back on its first mission.
Second mission I was offered was for 3 Champions. I only have 1. Looks like a barrier to advancement to me...

Thx! I suppose I have to go back and read those Mission/Recruit boxes again. It was not clear to me, with the instructions given, how/where to drag/drop anyone else but my one Champion over to the 3-open-space offered Mission window. It is all very unintuitive for first timers.

I suppose my issue is that i want to proceed with trying more (after the first Mission dude returned), but I'm at a (perceived?) roadblock w/ how to do the next one without enough people to send. The in-game instructions are unclear on what to do next & won't let me continue.
