I've been wondering if Twitter is worth it, given the confusion of standards at the top. At the moment, I think I'll keep it just for the people and podcasts I'm linked to and unfollow a couple of US opinion/news sources and monitor other media to see if they improve.
I have been trying to recalibrate my following list as well. For me, Twitter has always been a fun outlet to chat gaming/WoW, but also befriend others when possible. Having my feed bleed over with too much political bickering is something I'll reserve so another platform.
