Yeah i rarely take the subway when i am there, unless I'm with someone who knows the system. The good news is that, for the most part NY is a walkable city.
I think I'm mildly intelligent, moderately rational problem solver, and pretty open to working though new experiences. How was my recent venture into NYC subway system: Terrible. Poorly signed w/unhelpful maps & overly confusing info was a major downer on the overall good visit.

But then again i usually take the train to Grand Central Terminal, which puts me right in the middle of Manhattan
