I'm also more convinced than ever that Vol'jin is clearly becoming some kind of Loa somehow. Maybe he somehow replaces a certain Loa that ends up dying in one of the storylines. And that also helps facilitate the Zandalari joining the Horde as an Allied Race.

Vol'jin, Loa of Warchiefs & Kings.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised (if they ever do explain it which I don't think they will) that the Loa end up telling Vol'jin to appoint Sylvanas to Warchief because they knew about G'huun and the Horde would end up going to Zandalar and help/save/recruit them.

That's probably a good reason why then after G'huun has been taken care of Vol'jin advises Sylvanas steps down & either she does or doesn't personally its hard to tell at this stage of the game and I wouldn't want Sylvanas to go off scott free either but its the better outcome.

I really want Vol'jin, after he inevitably becomes a Loa, talks about the idea that the Loe are really just all selfish assholes using the Trolls like Greek Gods to empower themselves more. Make Vol'jin one of (the only?) moral Loa would be a nice send off for him too.
