I like it when they keep old models where appropriate. It's a nice piece of history and also HD models look very out of place in old low-poly sceneries like nagrand
Old models should honestly be replaced at this point. I get some people are nostalgic for them but with Classic servers now being made, I don't honestly see a reason for most of them to stick around. Also, the new models are amazing.

It's not just nostalgia. As I said, new models are stylistically incompatible with old world. Nothing worse than HD dual-axes-Garrosh in nagrand or tundra. And redoing the whole pre-MoP world is non viable option.
