I'm incredibly biased and just have to say that animated to live-action movies are almost always a step down from their predecessor sadly. Especially when it comes to anime adaptations.

I agree with you fully! It's really saddening to see live-action after live-action come out. You can have pretty costumes and sets, but that'll never top the beautiful artwork, voice talent, and heart that the original film had ;;

I guarantee we can. The motivation can't just be money. These remakes are cashing in on nostalgia when the originals are still heralded. The funny thing is, even if these films bombed financially, they'll still make bank on the amount of D+ subs to watch the originals.
