I haven't seen people talk about this really but another thing that annoys me about the Anduin stuff is that they've just completely and totally ruined Shalamayne.
Not only did they wreck his character but they stole and ruined his father's sword too.
Love it. Cool.

I suspect that since the Ashbringer could be restored to what it once was. That means that Shalamayne could also be fixed in a similar fashion.

Okay well then again what's the point of this storyline if not just pure shock value? If Anduin can be saved, if Shalamayne can be saved, if nothing has any consequence, then what's the point? I don't WANT these stories but if they do them, then ACTUALLY do them.

Its like really bad anime or a cringe CW superhero show where the writers are just like, 'HEY LETS DO THIS THING THAT WILL SHOCK THE AUDIENCE BUT NOT ULTIMATELY MATTER IN THE SLIGHTEST" I'm sorry but this is a tell of bad storytelling & it keeps happening more and more recently.
