((Shadowlands spoilers)) If blizz uses Thrall to get close to his mom, like they used Anduin, bc her guard would be down bc of the emotions of reuniting with her son, then that is going to hurt so much.

I'm really holding out hope that it isn't this, but Sylvanas' wording about them being safe makes me super worried.
Part of me just thinks that Sylvanas said that to make Anduin feel in an even worst situation. I doubt she'd want him to know that people are not only coming to rescue him but also his friends are alright. But yeah, she could be telling the truth for once.

I took her comment there as a way to not technically lie without saying they had been freed. As far as she was concerned, no one in the universe is safe from the Jailer. But she can count on him to fill in blanks with what she wants him to think without getting his hopes up.
