Skoll Shorties

This is the first expansion that has ever made me disinterested in playing WoW ever. I still play but it's not as much as past expansions even WoD and BfA I played those weekly.

I was more interesting in see, after exhausting all the Warcraft lore villains, what they would do. I did not expect basically "recycling" a lot of them back in using the afterlife.

None of the Villains of old outside of Kel'thuzad has returned back yet though.

N'Zoth and Azshara are still "undealt with". N'Zoth mainly from the Empire Dagger soul, who could conceivably return and cause trouble. The Jailer is esssentially the only villain so far who was completely new, and they had to retconn Arthas and the Lich King to do so.

I think Azshara was undealt with on purpose so that they could save her for later which is a smart idea considering how big of a villain she is in Warcraft.

I think it is lazy. Her and N'Zoth could have been two expansions worth, but they just used her as a weird filler villain and made N'Zoth's story a joke. I call it lazy writing, especially given the potential they had for two expansions.

The handling of N'zoth obviously could've done better but I like that they didn't kill Azshara off in the same patch and expansion she was introduced in. I wish N'zoth had a similar thing where he too escaped. But at least we've got Azshara for later.
