God. Post-BfA I just don't trust the lore team anymore. I almost want WoW's story to retroactively have ended after MoP. We'll briefly touch on stuff like how Garrosh gets rehabilitated slowly and the Zandalari civil war is ended. Then we just get stories like Exile's Reach.

Actually, Legion can happen too. Most of it, anyway. More emphasis on Velen's story this time. We'll also omit stuff like Darkshire's secret Legion cult. Lightforged get canceled and Broken become playable.

I really don't like this stigma of, "The story team has no idea what they're doing" or "BfA is bad writing." Had plenty of gems in it throughout the expansion. And like any other expansion, it had some bumps. The biggest of all was 8.3 but before that? Honestly was fine.

Honestly it really wasn't. They repeatedly said things that ended up being untrue regarding story in BfA. Either they're not communicating with each other, or they're lying to us.

Going to have to have a very hard disagreement on that and leave it simply there.

Sounds like they simply had to say, "She's not Garrosh 2.0" which she wasn't but she also clearly was evil. Anything with Sylvanas in BfA was a negative for me so I am not gonna defend anything regarding that. Saurfang and Jaina were the parts I'll choose to remember fondly.
